At Larkrise Community Farm , the safeguarding and wellbeing of our learners are our highest priorities. We are committed to fostering a secure, inclusive, and supportive environment where learners can excel.

The Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team

All staff receive regular safeguarding and mental health training to stay up to date with best practices and legislation.

Additional Support

Anti-bullying

  • Information and advice on all forms of bullying

  • Fearless is the dedicated youth service of the independent charity Crimestoppers. We provide you with the opportunity to give information about crime 100% anonymously. 

  • Childline helps anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through. Childline is free, confidential and available any time.

Alcohol and Drugs

Internet filtering and parental controls

  • Frank is a charity that provides advice and information for young people and parents on drugs.

  • Drink Aware provides advice and support for you to learn about the impact of alcohol on you, your family or friends.

Bereavement

  • Winston’s Wish provides services to bereaved young people and their families offering practical advice and guidance in helping to grieve and cope with bereavement.

  • Hope is a charity set up to help young people effected by bereavement.

  • Cruse Bereavement Care provides Information on what you can do to help a child or young person who is grieving.

  • Hope Again is aimed at young people aged 12-18 and is part of Cruse Bereavement Care.  The website is designed to help young people find their own way with dealing with loss.
