Following the government announcement in June, we continue to practise regular handwashing, wear masks when working in close proximity, and still work in socially distanced 'bubbles' to keep us all safe. All our staff have been fully vaccinated; they are PCR tested weekly and lateral flow tested twice a week.
Unfortunately, we are still not open to the general public, and it is with a heavy heart that the Farm has decided we will not be resuming our bi-monthly Saturday Farm Club. It was an extremely difficult decision to make, but the pandemic has had a significant impact on how the farm operates.
We would like to thank all those children, parents and volunteers who have supported Farm Club, and for the wonderful memories it created. We feel privileged to have been able to provide hundreds of local children with regular hands-on contact with our animals for nearly 20 years!
Once all restrictions are lifted we will offer activity days for local children in the Easter and Summer holidays.
Thank you once again to all our 'Farm Clubbers'. We will miss you, so please do call in and let us know how you are getting on once we can re-open to the general public, hopefully at the end of July.
With our very best wishes
The Team at Larkrise Community Farm 12/07/21
