How would you like to feed the cows, groom the goats, look for eggs, muck out the pigs, clean the pony tack or health check a rabbit?
There are always plenty of jobs to do down on the farm. Join our enthusiastic team of staff and volunteer helpers to learn how to look after the farm animals.
We meet every other Saturday at 9.30am until midday. On arrival you book in and choose which animal you would like to work with. We have ponies, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, poultry, rabbits & guinea pigs.
We stop for a well-earned break at 10.45am when the farm provides a drink, packet of crisps and biscuits. We then carry on working, finish off our jobs, clean and tidy up to finish for 12.00pm.
If you want to join the Farm Club, you need to be aged between 5 and 16 years. Please wear suitable clothing; shorts and vest tops are not acceptable at any tme.
As from 1 January 2020 the cost is £10 per child which reduces to £8 per child if the parent/guardian stays at the farm with their child for the morning. Parents who remain with their children are required to have a current DBS check in place, of the Adult & Child Workforce type, prior to their child starting at Farm Club.
