WORK PLACEMENTS FOR SCHOOLS & SUPPORTED LIVING

We provide half day and full day work sessions in Animal Care for students in Primary and Secondary Education from Monday - Friday, during term time, throughout the academic year. We also offer half day and full day sessions for adults with special needs, in Supported Living, all year round. Prices are agreed with the client. Please contact Amanda Paines for more details.

The full work day session is from 9.30am - 3.30pm; half day sessions are from 9.30am - 12pm/12.30pm or 1.15pm - 3.30pm.

An initial assessment interview is carried out prior to the start of the placement to ensure we provide a unique experience tailored to the individual's needs. Every client is monitored at regular intervals and a certificate is issued at the end of the placement.

Clients also have the opportunity to take part in the ASDAN Towards Independence Programme or the Animal Care Short Course via our RDA group if they wish. An additional cost applies.

In addition, we accept a limited number of students from Further Education Colleges on work experience, as part of their curriculum. A placement charge applies.
